On February 4, 2023, which coincides with the beginning of spring in the Year of Guimao in the lunar calendar, the "Hong Kong New Year Prayer Ceremony for the Year of Guimao" sponsored by the Hong Kong Western Temple and 24 Hong Kong societies was successfully held. Nearly 300 people including SAR government officials, community leaders, social luminaries, and friends from all walks of life attended the event. The conference would like to use the merits of this Dharma ceremony to pray for world peace, national prosperity, and Hong Kong prosperity. Dr. Choi Chi-kin attended the event as the representative of the President of the Hong Kong Island Federation of All Sectors.
