Appointment of Chief President of the Hong Kong Youth Association

The Hong Kong Youth Association was established on May 4, 1995. The purpose of the association is to hold high the banner of patriotism and love for Hong Kong, support the principle of "one country, two systems", respect and abide by the Basic Law, safeguard national sovereignty, security and development interests, and safeguard the long-term prosperity and stability of Hong Kong; unite and lead young friends from all walks of life, enhance the ambition, backbone and confidence of being Chinese, shoulder the mission and responsibility given to young people by the times, and strive to develop youth careers, promote the all-round development of youth, build communities, serve Hong Kong, contribute to the country, and strive to realize the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation; promote the values ​​of science, democracy, peace, development, fairness, justice and freedom, release the positive energy of youth, strengthen friendly exchanges and mutually beneficial cooperation with young people from all over the world, promote social civilization and progress, and jointly build and share a bright and beautiful future. In recent years, it has successively established brand activities such as "Taiwan Exchange Group for Young College Students from Both Sides of the Taiwan Straits and Hong Kong", "Hong Kong Outstanding Student Exchange Group", "Hong Kong Youth Diplomatic Summer Camp", and "Hong Kong College Students Mainland Internship Group" to serve young people, contribute to society, and receive social attention and recognition.

In July this year, the 13th Board of Directors and Supervisors of the Hong Kong Youth Association was elected by the general meeting of members. The members are elites from all walks of life, and they have widely sought the support of the SAR government, central departments and mainland institutions, charitable organizations, wise men from all walks of life, and friends, organizations and youth from all walks of life. The Hong Kong Youth Association invited Dr. Calvin Choi, Chairman and President of AMTD Group, Founder and Chairman of AMTD Charity Foundation, Special Vice President of the China Young Entrepreneurs Association, Vice Chairman of the Greater Bay Area Common Home Youth Charity Fund and Honorary President of the Hong Kong Youth Army Association, to serve as the Chief Chairman of the 13th Board of Directors and Supervisors of the Hong Kong Youth Association.
