The establishment of the Hong Kong Youth Fintech Association aims to promote young people's awareness and investment in fintech, develop innovative and creative thinking, and cultivate a young talent pool for fintech. The goal of the Hong Kong Youth Fintech Association is to cultivate a new generation of Hong Kong fintech talents who love the country and Hong Kong, to make long-term preparations for consolidating and sustainably developing Hong Kong’s status as a world financial center, and to prepare for the overall cross-border and cross-field development of fintech in Hong Kong. Comprehensive implementation of directional connectivity and innovative integration to support the future development of our common home, Hong Kong, as a world-class smart city.

 

In order to give full play to the advantages of Hong Kong’s leaders in the financial and technology sectors, and jointly create conditions and provide a track for promoting the cultivation, growth and development of Hong Kong’s financial technology talents, and build a ladder for Hong Kong youth to grow and progress and integrate into national development, Hong Kong Youth Finance The Science and Technology Association officially announced the establishment of an advisory committee . The founding chairman, Dr. Eric Choi, serves as the chairman of the advisory committee. Other members include the following important social figures:



 

   ● Dr. Chen Qingxia, SBS, JP, member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and permanent honorary chairman of the Hong Kong Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference ;

 

   ● Professor Tang Weizhang, BBS, JP, member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, chairman of the Hong Kong Laureate Forum, and former president of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University ;

 

   ● Dr. Lam Ka-lai, BBS, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited ;

 

   ● The Advisory Committee of Dr. Ip Sing-fai, CEO of Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute , will provide advice on key issues such as the overall development strategy of the Hong Kong Youth Fintech Association, the creation of a youth talent pool, and the stimulation and cultivation of innovation and creativity in an open, free and interactive manner. At the same time, the Hong Kong Youth Fintech Association announced the appointment of the following new bureau members:





 

   ● Appointed Mr. Feng Dagang, deputy to the People’s Congress of Chaoyang District, Beijing, CEO and co-chairman of the board of directors of 36Kr, and co-founder of AK73, as executive vice chairman;

 

   ● Appointed Mr. Luk Han -min, member of the Hong Kong Legislative Council, Chief Strategy Officer of the Chairman’s Office of Lai Sun Group and Vice Chairman of the Economic Policy Committee of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, as Executive Vice Chairman;

 

   ● Appointed Mr. Chan Hoi Wing , Vice Chairman of the Federation of Hong Kong Island Federations and Chairman of the Hong Kong Youth Association , as Vice Chairman;

 

   ● Appointed Mr. Wang Xin, founder and chairman of Sharing Times, as vice chairman.
