AMTD fully supports the "United as One, Fight Against the Epidemic" campaign

AMTD fully supports the "United as One, Fight Against the Epidemic" campaign. The Hong Kong SAR Government calls on all Hong Kong citizens to actively respond and take rapid antigen tests every day from today (April 8) to April 10 for three consecutive days, and report positive cases within 24 hours.

This self-testing campaign can identify infected people early for appropriate follow-up and cut off the community transmission chain as soon as possible; it will also help the government to review the infection situation in Hong Kong so as to formulate further anti-epidemic measures in the future.

AMTD Chairman Calvin Choi led a group of partners and students in the AMTD ecosystem to fully support the government's actions and called on everyone to take conscious actions, unite as one, and defeat the epidemic.

Dr. Calvin Choi also composed the music himself, and Xiaomei wrote the lyrics, and Tam Kwok-cheng served as the producer, and co-created the ending song "Song of Inheritance" of "Under the Lion Rock 2022". It tells the stories of ordinary Hong Kong citizens and their hard work and self-improvement through situational story unit dramas. These stories reflect the life experiences of grassroots citizens in Hong Kong in different eras, how they face the changes and impacts under various social developments, and thus witness the history of Hong Kong, the fighting spirit of Hong Kong people, and the Lion Rock spirit. In addition, the theme song of the same name in this series, "Under the Lion Rock", has become a classic work in the Hong Kong Cantonese music scene. This time, Dr. Cai's work is the ending song of "Under the Lion Rock 2022". At the same time, Lam Tak-sun's father, George Lam, reinterpreted "Under the Lion Rock", bringing out the inheritance of traditional Chinese culture, and passing on the melody and spirit of the song "Under the Lion Rock" with the song of inheritance. I hope that under the epidemic, the songs can cheer up the citizens of Hong Kong.
