Dr. Calvin Choi appointed as member of the International Advisory Board of Singapore Management University

Recently, Dr. Calvin Choi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of AMTD Group and Founding Chairman of AMTD Charitable Foundation, was appointed as a member of the International Advisory Board (China) of Singapore Management University.

Singapore Management University has established an International Advisory Board in seven core countries in Asia, including China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. The think tank is composed of outstanding business and regional leaders in Asia to provide strategic advice to Singapore Management University. The purpose of the International Advisory Board is:

●  Support Singapore Management University to establish and enhance its international reputation;

●  Promote the influence of Singapore Management University in the ASEAN region and become a core force for regional development;

●  Provide a way for Singapore Management University to demonstrate its leadership level and further enhance its research and teaching level as a first-class university in Asia;

●  Provide a platform for Singapore Management University to connect with thought leaders and policy makers

The SMU International Advisory Board (China) is chaired by Dr. Victor Fung, Chairman of the Fung Group, and consists of 14 members, including:

●  Dr. Victor Fung, Chairman of the Fung Group;

●  Dr. Charles Chen, one of the main founders of Tencent Group and founder of the Yidan Prize;

●  Dr. Michael Chiu, Executive Director of Cheung Kong Asset Holdings Limited;

●  Dr. Calvin Choi, Chairman of AMTD Group and Founding Chairman of AMTD Charitable Foundation;
